Every month V-Soft features a member of our family in our Employee Spotlight. For September, we've chosen Greg Kennedy. Greg is a Business Development Manager based out of our Louisville, KY headquarters. Learn more about how Greg helps round out the V-Soft family, and a little about him, below:
What is your experience in? What brought you to V-Soft?
The vast majority of my career has been spent in IT, mainly IT Infrastructure. Over the course of 20 years I have been a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, Security Analyst, IT Manager, among many other roles. A LinkedIn message from a V-Soft recruiter brought me to the company; it sounded like a tremendous opportunity and a great career move for me.

What do you consider a fulfilling workday?
A fulfilling workday to me is one that results in a win for our clients and our consultants. I take pride in educating both our customers and candidates on the benefits of working with V-Soft and how we can best assist them. Fulfillment to me is seeing the success of all parties involved and providing the best possible service that I can provide to ensure both the clients and the candidates feel fulfilled as well.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Five years from now I would like to be in some sort of leadership role within V-Soft. Based on the growth of our business, I am excited to see what opportunities present themselves during that time.
What is the best thing about V-Soft?
The people, the family culture here. Our leadership team is the best I have ever worked for and with. Not a day goes by that I don’t share a laugh or a story with a co-worker. The atmosphere makes it a pleasure to come to work every day.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy cooking and sporting events. I am an avid sports fan, possibly a bit too much at times. Whether that is a UK game, a Yankees game or a Buffalo Bills game, I am always glued to the action. I also enjoy cooking. Before I started in IT, I was accepted at the French Culinary Institute in NYC and had every intention of pursuing that, but the IT industry threw me a curve ball and an opportunity.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
Many years back I had the opportunity to jump out of a plane. It was a static line jump, so I was not attached to anyone, and it was probably the most exhilarating experience of my life.
