Written by Caitlin Soard | Jul 18, 2017 2:33:20 PM

Every month V-Soft features a member of our family in our Employee Spotlight. This month we've chosen Beau Gibbs, a new member of our V-Soft team in Denver, CO! Beau's job is to connect with potential and current clients to help them find the best business solutions possible in the Denver market. In addition to being a valuable member of our team, Beau's passions include the outdoors  – which is great news, since Denver is a great place for outdoor activities! Learn more about Beau's adventures below:

What is your experience in? What brought you to V-Soft?

I’ve worked for a technology staffing firm specializing in contract hire, I moved away from there and went to a consulting firm that also did direct hire and project based consulting work. They were similar environments to V-Soft. I’m here because I like V-Soft’s recruiting model better; one of my previous colleagues recommended V-Soft to me and I decided to take the challenge to use my entrepreneurial spirit to take on the Denver market.

What do you consider a fulfilling workday?

A fulfilling workday for me would be making as many connections as I can, within targeted accounts as well as with current customers. Whenever you can get face time with your clients or people you’re targeting, it’s a good thing. Having fun while you’re doing it is important. This industry can be challenging but if you don’t let the negative things impact your day, your workday will be more fun and fulfilling.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Honestly I would like to get a little further away from sales and have more of a strategic leadership role. I know we’re growing as an organization, so ideally I’d like to provide leadership or train for a broader range of responsibilities. I want to be able to help coach and train offices on best practices, implementing the V-Soft model and help drive a larger presence across the US.

What is the best thing about V-Soft?

I think the best thing has been being able to take my past experiences and implement them here in the Denver market. I am able to collaborate with Kevin and use my entrepreneurial spirit more. We’ve implemented some changes and made improvements to the leadership team. As opposed to other organizations I’ve worked for that haven’t been as open to suggestions, V-Soft is open to hearing different ways to targeting and growing our company.

What do you like to do in your free time?

It’s probably a shorter list if I tell you what I’m not interested in. Live music, being outdoors, taking advantage of the mountains, paddle boarding, all sorts of outdoor activities. Denver’s a great city to be in with 300 plus days of sunshine every year, so there’s always something to do outside.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact is that I’ve never done a triathlon in my entire life, and I signed up for Iron Man Boulder 2015 and completed it.
