This month we are spotlighting HR Specialist, Heather Nasri - Barrington. Heather has been with V-Soft for 15 years and has made a huge impact. We sat down with Heather to get to know her a little more and what her world looks like outside the office.
I have been with V-Soft since 2008 I came to V-Soft through the acquisition of Lintex our original company when it was purchased by V-Soft in 2018. My experience has been in HR and Finance which still continues today. I have met many amazing people over the years and have formed some amazing friendships. My HR team is truly amazing, they make my work life balance a breeze.
Being in HR there are many stories and new experience as each employee is different. I have not come across anything to out of the ordinary yet.
Typically during my free time you will find me with either all or a couple of our three children Faith (23), Shawn (15) and Carter (10) and my husband Andrew, we love to travel locally and experience food and culture of small businesses in the area. I love gardening and over the pandemic have learned a lot about growing our own fruits and vegetables (when weather permits). I am also an avid baker.
I am actually an American Citizen and moved to Canada in 1983, I still have family in Michigan where I am originally from and visit often.
My absolute favorite thing to do here is travel to the Niagara region we have many wineries as well as farms and markets that we enjoy exploring in the warmer months. We always stay for a weekend in September during our anniversary just has been a tradition for us.
