This month we have chosen to highlight Cassie Schaefer, our Immigration Team Lead. She helps us coordinate between our US and India offices. Read more about her here.

What is your experience in? What brought you to V-Soft?

My experience before V-Soft was all service and waitressing. I went to school for accounting and actually got my accounting transcript degree and then got the job opportunity from V-Soft when I had graduated with my Associate’s Degree. And so I never pursued accounting any further and now I do immigration with V-Soft. Immigration helps the consultants maintain their work status so they can be a part of the V-Soft family and continue the growth of the company.

What do you consider a fulfilling work day?

We’re very busy, all the time. Probably a good day would be answering all of my emails and getting at least three cases reviewed for Tanya to do a final review.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully in management of some sort. Either here or in another company in immigration.

What do you think is the best thing about V-Soft?

The people I work with. My team, Phil and Tanya and I, just kind of mesh as a team. We are able to vibe off each other, throw ideas off each other and problem solve very well to get the job done, no matter what kind of problem it is or the level of difficulty it may be.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Well, I go to concerts a lot. I bowl in a league with my husband. We like to go to the casinos; we do a Vegas trip every year. We like to have backyard barbeques. We definitely are cornhole players! We like to hang out and chill on our patio.

Do you have a fun fact about yourself?

I’m really good with a slingshot, which is a fun fact not many people know.
