This month's spotlight features Victoria Griffin, a dedicated member of the V-Soft Infrastructure team operating out of Cincinnati. Victoria has played a vital role in helping manage client projects and assisting members of her team, all while consistently bringing a positive attitude to work each and every day. We got to chat with Victoria to learn a little bit more about her role and what she likes to do in her free time.
I am the Project Coordinator for V-Soft's Infrastructure division, however, and I am sure the rest of my team will agree, I am a Swiss Army knife. I was hired to handle simple service requests within one of our major clients' systems and dispatch subcontractors accordingly, but managing projects is second nature to me, so I was lucky to be involved in managing some of the bigger multi-site projects, both when I was first hired and to this day. When time is available, I help other project managers and engineers to make sure no one falls behind. We love bouncing ideas off of each other.
Every day is interesting, really. In this line of work, you're constantly putting pieces of the puzzle together and I enjoy the challenge. My job is also unique in the bond we share as a staff. I always like to make time for pranking other staff members. Just ask Eric Holder (Managing Director of Global IT Operations) - he can attest!
My son, SJ, is 4, so I like finding seasonal things to go see or do on the weekends with him. He enjoys sleepovers with his cousins or going to the arcade, so I am constantly on my toes! Our favorite place to be, however, is the beach. We hope to retire in Clearwater Beach, Florida as it is our favorite spot and close to Tampa. We love rooting for our Tampa Bucs when they play!
I am obsessed with Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and all things video games. I am big into Xbox shooter games like Call of Duty or Fortnite. I also like to relive my childhood with Nintendo games like Animal Crossing, Super Mario 64, and Mario Party with the whole family.
I have lived in Cincinnati my whole life. My all-time favorite thing to do is go to Cincinnati Reds games. Luckily my aunt has had season tickets ever since Riverfront Stadium opened, so that comes in handy!
I am a foodie according to my husband, but I don’t get to really venture out too much because he is such a picky eater. My favorite place to eat would have to be Sotto downtown, though. It’s an Italian restaurant and they have THE BEST short rib ravioli and for dessert, ricotta doughnuts with three dipping sauces!
