Karly Fisher is an Account Manager located in our Denver, CO office. She became part of the V-Soft family during the MDT Technical acquisition in 2017 and now manages some of our largest accounts in Denver!
I’ve worked in an Inside/Outside Sales capacity in various industries (Medical, Transportation, etc) since I graduated Arizona State in 2010 and I just never really found the right fit as far as a company and product I truly believed in. I was looking for a change and happened to meet someone along the way who introduced me to Beau Gibbs, which is how I landed here at V-Soft. Thanks Beau! ☺
I would say hands down the people I work with! Your co-workers can truly make or break your experience at a company and I’ve been blessed with a bunch of really awesome ones here at V-Soft, not only in Denver, but throughout the company. Whether you need help with a problem or you’re just having a rough day and need a good laugh, I have no doubt that the team is here to help.
A fulfilling workday to me is when I’m making invaluable connections with my clients and/or contractors. I think that is something that was really missing from my previous roles. I didn’t feel I was truly helping someone or affecting their life in any way, I was sort of just selling a piece of hardware. Here at V-Soft, we are helping our clients find valuable talent that in turn helps them to achieve their goals and on the flip side, we’re helping candidates find their next job/career which is how they make a living. That’s pretty cool if you ask me! (Oh and of course making placements, that never gets old!)
I see myself continuing to fine tune my skills as an Account Executive, potentially moving toward more of a Senior AE role. I’d also love to be able to mentor/train new hires that are joining the team in an AE capacity as well. In general, I look forward to seeing how V-Soft continues to grow and evolve over the coming years and I’m super excited to be a part of it!
One of my favorite things to do in my free time is take my fur-son, Jax, out hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Since moving to Colorado, I’ve fallen in love with landscape photography as well so those two things sort of go hand in hand. Other than that, my boyfriend Mike and I are also really big movie people so usually on a Friday night, you can find us at the theater with a giant bucket of buttery popcorn!
This is a tough one…I guess I’d have to go with the fact that I beat an NBA Player (Derrick Rose) in knockout once. I am pretty sure he let me win but it was pretty cool nonetheless!
