This month we are spotlighting Regional Delivery Manager, Evan Eley. Evan joined the V-Soft Family at the beginning of 2022 and has since aided in the development and success of an amazing Recruiting Team. His bright personality and care for his team are two of the biggest reasons why Evan is the perfect example of what a strong leader looks like.

V-Soft reached out to me while I was actively looking for a new and exciting challenge in the Staffing Industry. I started in the industry as an intern doing market analysis, formatting resumes, and interviewing candidates for IT and Finance and Accounting roles. I was lucky enough to land a full-time position as a technical recruiter and never looked back!
Some of the greatest stories for a recruiter are about the people they were able to help along the way. I think one that stands out in my mind was a time where I was presented with a tough-to-fill position that, ultimately, took 10 months to find the perfect candidate for. After talking this person through the relocation process and working alongside them through a lengthy 7-week interview process, I was able to help him land the role that propelled his career in the direction he was hoping. Another story that stands out in my mind was a husband and wife I was able to assist in finding positions within the same company!

My family is spread out across the country, so I love traveling and exploring new cities. I also enjoy playing golf whenever I can and, during COVID, I picked up film photography. In my free time, my friends and I, all extremely competitive, love playing board games. There’s nothing more fun than getting a group of friends together, turning off your phones and raising some competitive tension over a game of Settler of Catan or Terra Mystica.

My father was the head chaplain of a retirement community, which came with the perk of him being given a home within the community. By association, I grew up amongst the retired! Imagine having 40 sets of grandparents!
Evan enjoys riding his vintage 1979 vespa Piaggio in his free time.
On Saturday mornings throughout the summer, I absolutely love grabbing coffee at a different coffee shop and going to the Flea Off Market to do some thrifting.
