This month we are spotlighting one of our Associate Technical Recruiters, Jonathan Creger. Jonathan has been a valuable member of V-Soft for a Year and has made a significant impact. We recently sat down with Jonathan to learn more about his interest and activities outside the office.
Although Jonathan initially was going to school for pharmaceutical studies, he eventually moved to Kentucky and found a job as a recruiter in the IT industry. One of the aspects he enjoys most about his job is the opportunity to engage with people. Working in recruiting has allowed him to have conversations with individuals who have lived interesting lives. He shared an experience with us where he spoke to someone who had contributed to programming a robot that was sent to Mars. Recently, he had connected with someone whose father had been involved in the early stages of NASA.
Not only does Jonathan’s job allow him to talk with interesting individuals but has taught him several important lessons. One being the value of asking questions. It is crucial to never stop seeking knowledge and being open to learning. He also emphasizes the significance of maintaining a positive attitude. Approaching challenges with optimism and enthusiasm can lead to better outcomes. Lastly, he mentioned it is important to remember that we don't always have all the answers. Embracing the different perspectives and understandings from others is all part of our learning process.
