Written by Kasey T | May 12, 2022 3:00:46 PM

This month's spotlight features Glenda Jones, V-Soft's Immigration Assistant. If you're ever in the Louisville office, chances are Glenda is the first person you'll meet.  We are fortunate to have her sense of humor and positive attitude around the office. Get to know Glenda a little more in this spotlight.

Describe Your Role at V-Soft

My main role at V-Soft is immigration - I assist in helping to get immigration petitions out to clients in a timely matter. I also help with getting travel booked for our sales and Digital team members when needed.

Any Interesting Stories in Your Line of Work?

I've been with the V-Soft Family for one year next week and it's interesting to learn new things each day and keep my mind sharp on all the things I’ve learned. The people also keep me on my toes! You just never know when you might get something thrown at you. There are times I’ve laughed so hard I cried, and I almost didn’t make it to the bathroom. The great people I work with make my job very interesting each day.

What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?

In my free time, I enjoy bowling, camping, listening to music, watching my son play sports, and hanging out with family and friends. Vacations are the best thing to do with my family - taking in all the sites in different cities. Disney World is the best place on Earth according to my kids. For me, Las Vegas is the second best!

What's a Fun Fact About Yourself?

The most fun fact about myself is that I love telling jokes and making others laugh. Did you know that it takes more muscles to frown than smile 😊? Try it!

Why did the scarecrow win an award? He was outstanding in his field!

Another fun fact is I can let you know what the weather is going to be for the day or weekend without missing a beat. Did you know there is a 50% chance of rain this weekend? If you want to know rain or shine, just ask me!

Any Favorite Things to Do in Louisville?

One of my favorite things to do in Louisville is to go to Churchill Downs and bet on horses.  Win or lose, I still have fun, laugh, and smile while doing it.

Another thing I love to do is walk at the Big Four Bridge over to Indiana and watch concerts by the river.
