This month's spotlight features Lonnie Gray, V-Soft's Regional Market Director. Lonnie joined the V-Soft Family in January 2022 and in a short time, has shown tremendous leadership. His infectious, positive attitude spreads across departments, not just the sales and recruiting teams he leads. We are grateful to have Lonnie on the team and can't wait to see how his leadership guides us to new heights in 2022. Get to know Lonnie, his role, and how he likes to unwind.
I have over 20 years of management experience and I’ve worked for some of the biggest companies in the staffing industry. However, I was intrigued by an article I saw online about V-Soft's President, Purna Veer, which stated he was the best CEO/President to work for. After transitioning over to V-Soft, I quickly discovered this was true. I needed a place where I had the autonomy to drive results without going thru corporate red tape. V-Soft has given me the authority to drive results, and in return, we’ve become more efficient, effective, and productive.

My number one goal is to increase revenue while adding new structures, processes, and procedures that will maximize productivity and will benefit our employees, consultants, and clients.

One of my passions is to observe employees' career development and watch professionals take themselves to the next level. I have several employees that stated, “I never knew I could get this far this quick.” Career development is not an option, it’s a discipline that requires self-dedication. Currently, we have several employees whose careers are developing ahead of their personal goals. It's a beautiful thing!
All my free time has been awarded to my family, which supports my busy schedule. We like playing board games, watching movies, and going out to dinner. We also enjoy exploring downtown and attending concerts and plays.

I enjoy collecting Bourbon. I didn’t drink bourbon until I moved to Louisville when my coworkers introduced me. The most prized bourbon I've collected is a Kentucky Owl Bourbon Dry State, it's a collector’s bottle and only 2000 were made. Blade and Bow is my go-to bottle of Willett Family Estate Rye.
