Written by Brianna Kolder | Oct 6, 2020 6:04:15 PM

This month's spotlight features Anthony Perlo, a dedicated and long time member of our sales team! Anthony has been successful in his role with V-Soft, and has been recognized as a top sales performer with President's Club status. We spoke to Anthony to learn a little bit more about his experience with V-Soft, how he stays busy in his free time, and about his recent wedding.

Describe Your Role at V-Soft

I'm the Senior Account Manager for Comcast overseeing all of their contingent staffing needs and daily operations across the country. I've worked at V-Soft since the StaffTech Solutions (MDT Technical) acquisition in 2017, and altogether have been working with the company, along with some other staff members, since 2006.

What's The Best Thing About V-Soft?

My favorite thing about V-Soft is the diversity of the people and personalities that I’m able to engage with each day. I’ve been remote for many years, and it's nice to have such a good group who come from a variety of places around the globe. Each person brings a wide range of ideas and thoughts to our daily calls and activities.

What's Something You're Proud to Have Accomplished at V-Soft?

I’m proud to have been a member of President's Club each year that I’ve been here, as well as being named Sales Person of the Year.

Any Interesting Stories in Your Line of Work?

I have some remarkable horror stories from early on in my tenure with the company that are off the charts. I had a contractor who relocated from Tennessee get stuck in her hotel bathroom for an entire weekend. When her husband didn’t hear from her, he called me. We called the police, and they went to the hotel and broke the door down to get her out. I could go on for hours on this topic!

What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?

Running is my outlet. I could have a terrible day but if I can get close to the beach and go for a run, I can completely reset! I also love traveling and have traveled extensively the last 3 years with my wife Sarah.

Sarah and I were married September 19th, 2020 on the beach in Montauk, New York (otherwise known as “The End”) at 9 am. Only a few close friends and relatives were present (9 total). Everyone else, including the officiant of the ceremony, were present via FaceTime or Zoom. It was a fabulous 5 minute ceremony that was celebrated after with breakfast burritos on the beach and a late night fire pit with lots of wine. Sarah and I had been the best of friends for almost 8 years before we eventually ended up together in 2017. In those 3 years, we’ve traveled the world, moved out of Philly to NYC and now have a 5 month old son, Gabriel. It’s amazing being able to wake up next to your best friend every day!

What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself?

When I was 10 years old, I competed and earned a spot on the Arco Jesse Owens national track team and represented the East Coast in a competition at the LA Coliseum against 14 boys from other countries around the world. I lost, but it was a great experience at such a young age and earned me a small scholarship towards college.
