For this month's employee spotlight, we wanted to feature one of our newest family members, Parisa Amoozegar! Parisa is our Business Development Manager and helps us match clients to the perfect match for their needs. In addition to helping our Louisville headquarters set up client meetings, Parisa is also an avid reader. Learn more about Parisa here:

What is your experience in? What brought you to V-Soft?

My experience has always been in sales. When I went to San Francisco about five years ago, that's when I kind of landed in staffing. I worked for a boutique firm and from there I did recruitment, and then was promoted to account mangement. I managed one of our large accounts, and I did account management in the Bay Area for about four years. After that we moved to Louisville, KY because we have a family now. We've been here for about a month. Jennifer reached out for a job in San Francisco and I told her I was looking for a job in Louisville, and here I am!

What do you consider a fufilling workday?

Either going to a lot of client meetings, or at least setting two meetings. I get really excited about the smallest email that says "yes," so to me that's a fufilling day. It's great to go out and meet with people, but setting a few client meetings a day feels good.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself definitely in a leadership role. I'd like to be in an area where I could empower people to see their value and see themselves bigger than what their perception of themselves may be, whether that's in corporate America or starting my own business. I really love empowering people and I think everyone could use some more of that.

What is the best thing about V-Soft?

I'm only five days in! But the best thing so far about working at V-Soft has been the people. The focus that management has on its people is really profound and amazing. Ultimately, V-Soft is just the name of a company. What makes it a truly great place to work are the people who run it. The name doesn't really mean anything unless the people do good work.

What do you like to do in your free time?

My free time has changed, since I have a two year old. Really now it's just going to the park, having some open space and having a picnic or just being outdoors. I do really love to read when I have some alone time. And obviously, vacation. I love to be on the beach every hour possible!

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I'm from Iran, I moved to the U.S. when I was 14 and couldn't really speak a lick of English. It was pretty scary, being in a school with a bunch of boys after being in a girl's school most of my life. That was an interesting teenage experience. I also sold books door-to-door to families for a company out of Nashville one summer.
