My experience is in a variety of things; overall leadership, business development, expansion of current clients. Right now I’m overseeing the Comcast account from a major strategic standpoint. I manage our account management team that supports Comcast. I’m also responsible for opening up new business units within the strategic accounts, hopefully continuing to open up new opportunities for revenue and profits. In addition to that, I’ve been managing a few key accounts for the organization and looking forward to opening up new strategic accounts, specifically within the cable/media/telecomm industries.
What brought me to V-Soft was our acquisition. I was with MDT for many years. When I came to MDT, I had just relocated to the area and it was a prior acquisition that brought me to MDT. I was acting as a national sales manager and doing a lot of the same type of work as far as business development is concerned.
I consider a fulfilling a work day a couple of things; it could be landing a new client; it could be finding an exciting opportunity for a candidate. It could also be fulfilling a customer’s solutions. All of that wrapped in one is a good day.
I would say I look forward to additional growth opportunities within V-Soft, and possibly expanding within my current role in helping to lead sales teams within strategic accounts. I also would like to be furthering growth opportunities for my current team members.
I would definitely say the people have been the best thing, for sure. They have certainly embraced the acquisition of MDT. They’ve been warm and welcoming, and I’m really enjoying the overall culture and family atmosphere that Purna has created.
Definitely spending time with my family. Running, skiing, cooking and travel. We took a trip to Hawaii a few years back after my son graduated from high school and that was really exciting. The trail we hiked on the Napali Coast was one of the most dangerous trails in the world and we didn’t know that at the time, but it was really, really cool.. It was the most fun and exciting thing we’ve done in the last couple of years.
I was a ski instructor for young kids at a local ski resort
