We're featuring a new face for this month's Employee Spotlight! Tyrone is a Business Development Manager located in our Cincinnati, Ohio office. Take a moment to learn more about Tyrone as he shares his goals with us and how one of the world's biggest music moguls recognizes him.

Describe Your Role at V-Soft

I’m Cincinnati’s Business Development Manager for the IT Staffing side of the business. My role is hybrid model where I have both Account Management and Business Development responsibilities. I help clients understand the latency in their work stream delivery and then offer solutions to help augment their IT headcount by providing skilled talent to fill capacity and knowledge gaps.

What is the Best Thing About V-Soft?

The best thing about V-Soft so far is their ‘mom and pop’ feel with an Enterprise Level mindset. What this means to our clients is, we not only have a local presence but we also deliver top tier talent that can compete internationally. Our off-shore recruiting team has been very impressive and I can’t wait to knock a couple home-runs out of the park with them!

What Has Been Your Greatest Accomplishment So Far in 2019?

My greatest accomplishment this year would definitely be starting with V-Soft. This company is in a growing phase and I am so excited to be a part of this!

Where Do You See Yourself in Five Years?

In five years, I see myself in position of leadership. It’s my goal to grow and develop the Cincinnati market to a point that we need new office space for a team focused solely on Cincinnati. I also want to purchase my first house here in Cincinnati. I want something quaint and near downtown that offers both privacy and access to the urban culture of the city. It would definitely need a garage where I can store my dream car, a Cadillac CTS-V! I have also been passionate about helping others in situations beyond their control, so I would like a adopt a refugee from Syria in the next 5 to 8 years.

What Do You Enjoy Doing on Your Free Time?

My free time could be summed up in one word - ‘Music!’ I grew up in the marching music world as a percussionist so music has always been close to my heart. Whether it is EDM, live Jazz, or a large music festival, if there’s a show I’m likely going to be in the crowd enjoying it. During my marching career, I also had a chance to teach drumline and color guard for a couple high schools down in Mississippi.

What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself?

One of my favorite ‘fun facts’ to talk about aligns with my love for music. I am a self-proclaimed Beyoncé Aficionado. To call me a super fan would not be fair. I’ve attended 4 shows, all front row V.I.P. And yes, I am one of the fans she knows and recognizes! (I have receipts, haha).
