Technological research and consulting firm Gartner, named Software AG as a Leader in its 2022 Magic Quadrant for Strategic Portfolio Management for the second year in a row. Published in April 2022, this report recognizes Software AG as a top Leader because of its ability to execute.

Forrester Consulting’s Total Economic Impact Study of IoT Platform Cumulocity
The research and advisory firm Forrester Consulting conducted a study on the Total Economic Impact of Software AG’s Cumulocity IoT platform to understand the business value of deploying it. The study found several measurable benefits including a 339% Return on Investment (ROI) over a period of 3 years, $8.1 million in benefits over the same time period and payback in less than a year. It also found that the IoT platform helped organizations grow revenue, enhance CX through new services, streamline field operations, and reduce the level of effort to deliver IoT services to the organization.
Software AG Partners with Department of Defense
Software AG Government Solutions are being used by Department of Defense (DoD) to leverage IoT data for improving military health care. The Joint Deployable Personal Proximity Solution (JDPPS) which is a Defense Healthcare Management System initiative was launched to leverage IoT data and use data-sharing for tracking the health of COVID patients during the pandemic. Under the project, data from military personnel wearables are collected by Software AG Government Solutions and sent to Cumulocity for processing. The information is then forwarded to destinations where it can find further use, such as electronic health records. With Cumulocity and Software AG Government Solutions, the partnership between the government and Software AG has helped both innovate and reap benefits from IoT technology.

Amazon Web Services Lists Software AG’s TrendMiner as a Subscription Service on its Marketplace
Software AG’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solution for the manufacturing process industry, TrendMiner has been made available in the AWS marketplace.
