We are proud to share another important member of our V-Soft Family, Mr. Geoffrey Martin, a Media & Content Strategist who is located in our Chicago office.  With his expertise in strategizing communications and content activities, he is helping V-Soft on media communications, branding, and marketing activities. Here are some interesting things Geoff has to share with us about his journey.

What Brought You to V-Soft and What is Your Experience in?

Initially, what brought me to the V-Soft family was the opportunity to broaden my work experience in the IT field and move into a new and potentially fulfilling career. My past experience has involved public relations & marketing, writing & editing, IT, design, project management, and managing client accounts. I also have a great deal of experience in professional photography. What I find exciting about most of the work I've had the opportunity to do with V-Soft is that I have been able to incorporate several of my skill sets into multiple projects I’ve worked on so far, which keeps things interesting!

What Do You Consider a Fulfilling Work Day?

I enjoy being productive, so when I get a lot done in a day, I feel accomplished. I’d say that one of the most fulfilling things about my work is making a client happy. A happy client makes me happy. And a happy client also means more business down the road!

Where Do You See Yourself in Five Years?

I’m in a transitional period in my career right now, so that’s a good question, haha. I would like to see myself is a comfortable and stable position, but I’m not sure what that means just yet. It might be a project leader for major client projects, or it could be an internal position working on marketing initiatives for V-Soft.

What Do You Like to Do in Your Free Time?

I love spending time outside; and yes I even enjoy the winter time in the Midwest! (Dare I say Chicago too!) I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, hiking, biking, and doing projects in and around the house. I love cooking, and photography is also a passion of mine. It’s a great way to see and capture the world around me. Photographing people also turns out to be a great way to get to know someone.

What is a Fun Fact About Yourself?

I don’t think this is a “fun fact” but I tend to come off as being serious a lot of the time, but I’m actually a big goof! Other facts: sunsets and sunrises are a couple of my favorite things in this world; and humming birds are my favorite type of bird.
