This month's spotlight features Robbie Dale, one of V-Soft's Associate Recruiters who has been excelling at helping qualified candidates find their perfect roles. Robbie began with V-Soft earlier this year and has continued to grow with big goals for the future. We spoke to Robbie to learn a little bit more about his experience so far with V-Soft, his favorite parts of his role, and how he enjoys his free time.
Describe Your Role as an Associate Recruiter
As an Associate Recruiter, my role is to source qualified candidates for our clients here at V-Soft using a variety of different channels. I enjoy being able to network with people all over the country and getting to know them. My favorite part about this role is that I know I am helping people find opportunities they are looking for to better themselves and their careers.

How Did You Begin Your Journey as an Associate Recruiter?
The opportunity to work at V-Soft kind of just fell in my lap because I knew the Corporate Recruiter at the time. He reached out to me to see if I was interested in becoming a member of this program. After hearing more about the role and the responsibilities I would be taking on, it was an opportunity for me that was just too hard to pass up, so I decided to take a chance and it's worked out well for me so far!

Any Advice for Those Interested in Joining the Associate Recruiter Program?
I would tell new grads that are interested in taking on this role that it is a grind, but at the same time, it can be very rewarding in the sense that you are helping people. With that being said, the commission is also pretty nice too! We are actually looking for new grads right now for this role, so if you're wanting to join our team, you can contact LaToya Barber at LBarber@vsoftconsulting.com.
For new grads not looking to get into recruiting, my advice would be to find a career path that you can truly be passionate about. When you are passionate about something you tend to work harder, and you enjoy your work a lot more.
What's Something You're Excited to Accomplish at V-Soft?
The accomplishment that I am excited the most about is becoming a senior-level recruiter. Obviously, I still have some time before that happens because I am fairly new to this role, but I feel that I am on the right track to progress and grow a promising career as a recruiter.
What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?
I have quite a few hobbies that I enjoy doing during my free time. I love traveling with my fiancée. Every summer we go down to Anna Maria Island for vacation. Other than that, I play video games and I also enjoy being outdoors because I am an avid hunter and fisherman.

What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself?
I'm a former collegiate athlete - I played division 3 baseball for Spalding University here in Louisville. I loved traveling the country and playing baseball as it was a childhood dream of mine. Some of my former teammates ended up being some of my closest friends.

Any Favorite Things to do in Louisville?
My fiancée and I love trying new restaurants here in Louisville. We also love going to Down’s After Dark at Churchill Downs, Louisville Bats games at Slugger Field, and checking out the KY State Fair to enjoy all the food and live music.
