This month's spotlight features Audrey Sabatini, a powerhouse member of the V-Soft sales team. Audrey came to V-Soft from the acquisition of MDT Technical in 2017 and has been excelling ever since! She most recently earned the outstanding recognition of the 2021 President's Award from V-Soft President, Purna Veer, and also earned President's Club status in 2021 and in multiple years prior. We chatted with Audrey to learn a little bit more about her role in the company, her past experience, and how she enjoys spending her free time.
What's Your Experience in and What Brought You to V-Soft?
I've always enjoyed helping connect amazing companies with well-qualified candidates and really making a difference, not only in someone’s life but also in the companies I work with. I've been fortunate enough to be gainfully employed recruiting top talent and helping my clients in the state of Wisconsin for over 15 years. I pride myself in thoroughly understanding technology and working to closely define my clients' needs. I take the time to truly understand the organization, culture, and role specifics of each client. I'm dedicated to my clients and take very special care to always keep open communication flowing and remain transparent.
What brought me to V-Soft is the people – it's that simple. The people here truly have a deep passion for helping find solutions for client challenges and have respect for each other as a solid TEAM. We are all about high expectations and getting things done by successfully working together.

Any Interesting Stories in Your Line of Work?
There are always many interesting stories in this line of work as we are working with people and everyone is unique in their own way. One of my favorite success stories is about a candidate who was very down on his luck and struggling to keep his family above water financially as he was out with an unexpected, temporary medical issue and his wife recently lost her job. Together we discussed his strengths, weaknesses, what he specifically was looking for, and how he felt he could offer an immediate contribution to an organization. I proactively looked for a permanent IT position for him, roleplayed with interviewing techniques, encouraged him as he just needed a little nugget of hope, and he not only landed that perm position I found him, but he is also still there today and is leading a team of 5 IT professionals.
What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?
I love working with my animal foster families and helping stray dogs and cats find their forever homes. My 15-year-old son and my ark of animals are my top favorites, along with working out, yoga, walking, bonfires, boating, and investing time with friends and family.

What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself?
I really enjoy giving back to the community. Dane County in Madison, Wisconsin is amazing as far as taking care of people who need it the most. My son and I delivered food to the homeless on Thanksgiving every year, a tradition we started when he was just 7 years old.
Any Favorite Things to do in Madison?
Madison and the surrounding communities have so much to offer! My son and I enjoy trying new restaurants downtown, having ice cream down at Memorial Union, enjoying the water, boating, and jet skiing on Lake Monona, and hiking through all the beautiful nature trails in the area.
