Taste of Madison is an annual event held in Madison, WI that features dozens of local restaurants, beverage stands and entertainment. It’s a big event. Mobile app features
The app for Taste of Madison showcases more than 80 local restaurants, 20 beverage stands and three entertainment stages. However, the Taste of Madison app has many other features besides just mapping out where each of these showcases are located. Some features include:
- Easy navigation to Twitter and Instagram feeds featuring #tasteofmadison tags
- Vote for favorite restaurant/food
- Navigation to each restaurant featured on the app
- Access to showcases in alphabetical order—this also includes award winners
- Schedule for the entertainment stages
- Local weather reports
- Push notifications with up-to-date info from organizers
- List of volunteers
- Sponsor list and information
- Space to provide feedback to event organizers
All of these features wrapped into one single mobile application allow attendees to get the most up-to-date information during the event as well as gives sponsors an extra platform to be showcased on.
