2. Government of Mississippi State Chatbot: MISSI

MISSI is the chatbot application of Mississippi State is designed to help residents and visitors to know any information regarding the state. The chatbot application enables people to input their concerns either through a Mississippi State website chat messaging window or by voice input through voice assistant Alexa of Amazon (Must download the Skill “Ask Mississippi” to use Alexa).

This application aids residents, businesses, as well as visitors. To residents, chatbot assists with the public services and respective info, like, taxation, health services, public transport, family services, job opportunities, and so on. The chatbot helps the visitor with places to visit and events happening.

 

 

3. Government of San Francisco's Chatbot: PAIGE

PAIGE stands for Procurement Answers and Information Guided Experience. PAIGE is a San Francisco’s Procurement chatbot application for internal workers. This application is built on the Facebook’s NLP platform-wit.ai. PAIGE is intended to assist the employees in San Francisco government agencies with the digital/IT procurement process. This application keeps employees free from all the hectic procedures in the government procurement process.

4. Government of Kansas City Chatbot : OpenDataKC

Initially, Kansas City’s open data portal was developed to aid people to find information about the city in detail at one location. After observing the people’s difficulty in traversing through the vast portal, Mr. Eric Roche – CDO of Kansas City- came up with the idea of Facebook messenger chatbot application named OpenDataKC, which would interact with the people and provide the information immediately, avoiding people’s time wastage in traversing through the portal. 5. Government of Los Angeles: CHIP and L.A.City Alexa

City Hall Internet Personality (CHIP) is chatbot application launched by Los Angeles Business Assistance Virtual Network (LA BAVN) to assist users on business opportunities available and this application is launched on Microsoft Azure Bot platform. One more interesting chatbot application includes L.A.City. Los Angeles state launched the voice-enabled application (usually termed as skill) L.A. City for Amazon Alexa device. This lets users directly talk to them to request information about the events/news happening in the city.

6. General Services Administration, USA: Mrs. Landingham

Mrs. Landingham is the slack bot that is developed by the 18F, an initiative of General Services Administration, USA. This bot is intended to guide the new hires on the complete in-house onboarding process like filling forms, organize deliberations and so on. This bot enables the interactive and better user experiences to the onboarding process.

7. Government of Dubai's Chatbot, Rammas

RAMMAS is the Artificial Intelligence chatbot application launched by the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) on 17th, January 2017. It is able  to communicate in English as well as Arabic. This is the first ever government chatbot application launched on Google AI platform. The chatbot application is available on the DEWA website, IOS, Android, Amazon Alexa, Facebook, and as a physical robot. Since its launch, RAMMAS has processed close to 698,000 requests across various channels. This bot application comes with capabilities to take people’s requests (inquire and pay bills,) 24/7, process the data and make decisions with greater accuracy. This is one the best chatbot applications that  makes use of AI to the fullest.

8. Government of Singapore Chatbot: Gov.sg

Gov.sg is the Facebook messenger chatbot launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), Singapore, to enable the Singaporeans and visitors to easily locate  information about the government’s agencies, news, press releases, workforce, and policies. Likewise, people can raise and track the status of complaints regarding lapses in any of the public services. The chatbot extracts the information from the government dedicated portal that is already in place for public use.  

9. Government of London Chatbot: TravelBot

TravelBot is an AI-powered Facebook messenger chatbot application launched by the Travel For London(TFL) government agency, UK, on 13 June 2017. This messenger bot is intended to deliver help the people with services like bus arrivals, route status, service updates(bus/rail), maps, and even allot a human an agent if a customer like to get in further details.
