Describe Your Role at V-Soft
Here at V-Soft, my title is Technical Recruiter, but I more atone myself to the Jerry Maguire of the technical world. I find candidates based on specified requirements and place them with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. This placement needs to be a match from all parties and I do that with the help of our sales team. We look for the right match from a technical aspect along with how they’d fit in the group overall. Finding the right candidate requires working from multiple avenues and it’s imperative to try each one.
What is The Best Thing About V-Soft?
The best thing about V-Soft has to be our quarterly outings in which we, as a team, either work with non-profits to make an impact on those less fortunate or we create lasting memories from doing activities we all enjoy whether it be bowling, indoor skydiving or axe throwing. It’s great to all get together and share the events with people in our lives outside of the company to show what V-Soft does.
Where Do You See Yourself in Five Years?
I enjoy the technical aspect of this role and the vision V-Soft has in its Digital division. I could potentially see myself working more in-depth with them and bring aboard bright minds to better serve our clients and internal projects.
What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?
I like hiking, kickboxing, lifting weights, skiing, and tasting a well-crafted artisanal brew every once and a while. Also, I’m into a lot of different genres of music including metal, jam bands, electronic and classical – always looking for new bands to give a listen to!
What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself?
I would consider myself somewhat of a beginner chef and love exploring new recipes, a fun fact is I successfully re-created Jacques Pépin’s Chicken Galatine Ballotine which was something I set out to conquer a few months ago.
