When it was announced that we were going to send a team to Las Vegas for the ServiceNow Knowledge15 conference we all jumped at the opportunity. Not only was everyone excited to go to Las Vegas, but we were also eager to experience all that is ServiceNow.
What is ServiceNow?
In case you came across this post and wondered what is this thing called ServiceNow here’s some explanation.
ServiceNow is a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) provider of Service Management (SM) software for the entire enterprise.”
In a nutshell, the ServiceNow platform brings everything to the enterprise, now. All functions of a business running as a service, measured, managed, and connected makes for a lean effective enterprise. Increasing productivity and making business better, that’s why ServiceNow’s stock has grown almost 10 fold over the over the last 5 years and is becoming a recognized leader in enterprise software platforms. This year the event was held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mirroring the growth of ServiceNow the Knowledge conference has grown exponentially. An event which used to bring in <3,000 people now brings in over 9,000 from all over the world.
On an important side note the coolest thing besides the conference was the Mandalay Bay beach. An entire sand beach with perfectly sized wave effects, rentable cabanas, and great chairs providing perfect spots for reading a book by the beach or getting your swim on.
